INSTALLATION

NOTE: These instructions are in reference to OneUp Components Bar & Stem. If you are using a different stem please check the installation instructions for that stem. Not all stems clamp with no gap on the top clamp. Failing to install stem faceplates correctly can result in failure.

STEP 1:

With the Stem face plate removed, install the bar.

STEP 2:

Install the Top bar clamp and bolts, and tighten the bolts to the stem body until there is no gap between the stem body and face clamps.

STEP 3:

Thread lower bolts until the bar is held in place, but can still roll easily.

STEP 4:

Find the corresponding marking to your frame's headangle and line it up with the edge of the stem face plate.

If you are using a non-OneUp stem, you can also line up the markings with the edge of the stem face plate.

STEP 5:

Torque all stem bolts to 6Nm.

Note: It is highly recommended to check the torque spec twice before shredding!
