Refund policy

We have a 21-day return policy, which means you have 21 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted,you will need to return the item(s) within 5 working days.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders, preorders  or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

§ 1 GENERAL

These terms and conditions apply between us and customers, Montaigu-Feret-Fillon, Frederic trading as boutique MTB, exclusively to contracts concluded via our online shop www.boutiquemtb.se.





§ 2 OFFERS; DELIVERY TERMS; PARTIAL DELIVERIES




1) We reserve the right to change our offers on the website www.boutiquemtb.se.



(2) Goods are not delivered to customers outside Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland.



(3) If an item you have ordered is not available for delivery, we reserve the right to cancel the order.



(4) We reserve the right to make a partial delivery to you as soon as we have the goods in stock and can make a favourable shipment.





§ 3 LIABILITY




(1) Claims for compensation from customers are excluded. Except for claims for damages relating to death, bodily injury, health problems or damage arising from essential contractual obligations, such as liability for other damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence on our part or on the part of any of our legal representatives or agents. Essential contractual obligations are obligations that are necessary to fulfil the contract and meet the customer's requirements.



(2) In the event of damages that prevent us from fulfilling the contract, we shall be liable for typical contractual obligations, such as foreseeable damages, provided that these damages are simply due to negligence, unless they relate to claims for damages from customers in relation to death, bodily injury or health problems.



(3) The limitation of paragraphs 1 and 2 also applies in favour of our legal representatives and agents when claims are made directly against these parties.



(4) The provisions regarding product liability remain unaffected.


 

§ 4 TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR DISCOUNT VOUCHERS




(1) The purchase amount for the products ordered must, after deduction of any returned products, meet at least the minimum purchase value stated on the voucher.



(2) Coupon codes can only be redeemed by the recipient of the newsletter. The coupon must therefore be redeemed using the same email address that received the discount coupon.



(3) Only one coupon per order can be redeemed; multiple coupons cannot be combined.



(4) The period of validity, any repurchase value or other conditions will be communicated in connection with the discount voucher. In this case, the minimum purchase value refers to the purchase price including shipping costs. Any shipping costs and additional fees will not be taken into account.



(5) If you start or complete a purchase with a voucher, the amount cannot be refunded and the voucher cannot be reused. This does not apply if you have purchased a voucher or gift card from us.



(6) Vouchers for shipping costs can be used for shipping costs for orders in the online shop, unless otherwise stated on the promotion or product page. It is also not possible to use the voucher if the order has been placed in a third-party webshop.



(7) It is not possible to receive cash payment for a discount voucher.



(8) Discount vouchers are issued personally and cannot be transferred to third parties. In the event of a transfer of a voucher, we reserve the right to cancel the voucher.



(9) We would like to point out that the voucher is only valid for new customers, which means that the customer must be ordering from us for the first time.



(10) If you lose a discount voucher that we have sent to you, we cannot replace it. A replacement voucher will only be issued if we are responsible for the loss of the voucher.

(12) We reserve the right to exclude the validity of vouchers for specific brands, products or product groups. Discount vouchers are generally only valid on products from the Ibis and Yeti brands.


 

§ 5 PAYMENT




Payment is handled through Klarna Checkout, which is offered in collaboration with Klarna AB. Klarna Checkout distinguishes between purchase and payment. First, you confirm your purchase, then you choose how you want to pay. You can choose between Klarna invoice, Klarna account, direct card payment or bank transfer.



Klarna Checkout: By using Klarna Checkout, you agree to Klarna AB's (556737-0431, Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm), ‘Klarna’, terms and conditions. To use Klarna Checkout, you must be at least 15 years old.



Identification, customisation and risk assessment




In order to securely identify you and prevent unauthorised use or abuse of Klarna Checkout, as well as to comply with good credit practices, Klarna needs to verify your identity. Klarna collects additional information such as your personal identification number, name and address, and, when choosing a credit option, credit information from various providers. Klarna also needs to

use the information you may have provided during previous purchases, publicly available information on the internet and information about how you have previously met our payment terms, in order to perform a risk assessment. Klarna Checkout automatically adapts the risk assessment, and thus the design of the service, each time you use the service, and you do not need to provide more information than necessary. In some cases, previously provided and Klarna-approved addresses will be displayed to you as soon as you enter your email address and postcode. The approved address may only be used for the purpose of pre-filling the address details in direct connection with a purchase. You can easily avoid the approved address being pre-filled by choosing to apply a PIN code. By completing the purchase, you confirm your identity and correct delivery address.




Payment, fees

Klarna Checkout displays the payment options that are available to you. Current payment options that may be offered through Klarna Checkout are invoice, account credit, card payment or direct payment via bank. Invoice is the default payment option where possible. When paying by invoice, Klarna's current invoice terms apply; currently 14 days' credit, with a reminder fee added in the event of non-payment. If you have spent less than £60, a £29 reminder fee will be added, and if you have spent £60 or more, a £60 reminder fee will be added. There is also a late payment interest rate of 24% plus the reference rate set by the Riksbank at any given time. It costs


We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Bicycles and frames imported from outside the EU for a specific order (i.e.: manufacturer backorder of said bicycle or frames) cannot be return either unless found defective by the manufacturer at which point we reserve the right to replace the item or refund at our discretion

§ 6 REFUND

Once your return has been received, processed and approved by us, the refund will be made via Klarna. If you have chosen to pay by invoice, we recommend that you pay the invoice or contact Klarna to extend the payment period to avoid unnecessary reminder fees.



 

§ 7 TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR DISCOUNT VOUCHERS


 


The following terms and conditions apply to discount vouchers, unless otherwise stated. The terms and conditions do not apply to gift cards purchased in our online store.

(1) Discount vouchers can only be used in our online store. Voucher codes can only be redeemed via the same email address that received the discount voucher. Vouchers cannot be transferred to third parties. Only one voucher per order can be redeemed; multiple vouchers cannot be combined. It is not possible to receive cash payment for a discount voucher. Interest is not applied to discount vouchers.

(2) The validity period and minimum order value (including VAT, excluding shipping and other fees) will be announced in connection with the promotion.

(3) The voucher value is distributed among the products ordered. If individual products are returned, a proportional coupon value will be deducted from the price of each of the products. If the discount coupon is linked to a minimum order value, this must be achieved even if products are returned, otherwise the discount coupon will no longer be valid. If the products are returned, the coupon amount cannot be refunded and the coupon cannot be reused.
