The lightest helmet light in the Outbound range: about 105 g, no cable to a battery pack, and a beam built for the trail.
Hangover was designed from the start to sit on a helmet, not adapted from a flashlight. Its optics come from Outbound's automotive lighting background. Instead of a narrow hotspot, the beam blends a strong centre into a wide, even spread, so you can see both the line ahead and what's around you. It's named after the Hangover trail in Sedona, Arizona.
Built for real rides
- About 1,000 lumens on High, 400 on Medium, 200 on Low, plus an Adaptive mode
- Adaptive mode starts on High and dims slowly over 30 minutes while your eyes adjust, for longer runtime without a noticeable drop
- USB-C charging, 0–80% in about 1 hour with a QC 3.0 charger
- Pass-through charging: run it from a power bank in any mode on long rides
- Low-battery warning, followed by about 20 minutes of get-home light in every mode
- Single large button you can feel through winter gloves
- Sealed against rain, snow and hosing down (not pressure washing)
- Magnesium heat sink keeps it light and cool, with no aggressive output throttling
- Designed and assembled in Chicago, USA

Which mount for my helmet? The curved base suits most helmets (e.g. Fox Speedframe, TLD D3, most ski helmets). Flat-topped or vented helmets such as POC Kortal/Tectal, Giro Radix and Smith Forefront suit the wide base. Helmets with a centre ridge (TLD A2, Leatt Gravity, Kask Mojito) need the notched base, which is sold separately.
