Forbidden Reya T1
A short travel trail bike done the Forbidden way.
Meet Reya. Proportional geometry, predictable handling, and a punchy ride character that covers ground efficiently while still staying calm and confident when the trail gets rough. This is not an XCO bike with pumped-up travel — it is a purpose-built short-travel trail bike designed to maximise fun, traction and speed.

Why we like it
- 120 mm rear travel with a re-imagined Trifecta kinematic.
- ONE RIDE proportional sizing for balanced handling across all sizes.
- No idler, no flex stays, no headset routing.
- Accessory mounts and full-size bottle clearance on every size.
- Built to retain sensitivity, traction and support without sacrificing efficiency.

Suspension and geometry done right
At the heart of Reya is a re-imagined Trifecta kinematic. Forbidden put less emphasis on axle path and more on achieving the right suspension characteristics for a fast, modern short-travel trail bike. The result is a supportive, progressive bike that transfers energy efficiently when pedalling and pumping, while preserving the sensitivity and traction needed for technical terrain.
Chain feedback is tuned to feel calm while climbing and effortless on the descent, with approximately 80% anti-rise for predictable braking behaviour and around 110% anti-squat at sag in the climbing gears for efficient power transfer.
