HD6 Specific FAQs

Do I have a Traction Tune shock?

Yes. All bikes ship with a Traction Tune rear shock; compression and rebound tune is lighter than an off-the-shelf Float X2.

Can I run a shorter or longer fork?

Rated for 180–190 mm suspension forks.

What fork offset should I run?

Optimized around 44mm offset. A 51mm offset shortens trail and can feel less stable.

What is the chainline?

55mm chainline. Examples include SRAM DUB Wide and Shimano 120 series (125 for XTR).

Does it support a 29” rear wheel?

No. Dedicated mixed wheel bike; a 29” rear wheel will not fit.

Can I run a coil shock?

Yes. Supports any 230 × 65mm coil shock.

Largest rear tire?

Most 27.5 × 2.5 tires fit. Verify at least 8mm clearance at the tightest point.

Chainring sizing?

Max round 36T. Min round 30T. Max recommended oval 34T (verify clearance).

Water bottle sizing?

26oz bottle fits all sizes except size 1 / small (22oz).

Complete bike weight?

Size large builds begin at 14.54 kg (with frame protection installed and sealant in tires).

Brake adapters for 180 or 203 rear rotor?

Rear mount is 180mm post mount. For 180mm rotor: use Shimano caliper bolts; no adapter. For 203mm rotor: Shimano SM-MA-F203P / P.

Does it support 220mm rotors?

Yes.

Dropper Insert

Do not insert your post deeper than these measurements. Forcing the post can result in a seat tube failure.

IMPORTANT: Before riding, check saddle-to-tire clearance with the dropper fully dropped and the shock fully compressed (air out).
